Recently
selected out of 5300 bands nationwide as the Online Music Awards
"Best Unsigned Artist In America," Spirit Creek has
quickly attracted the eye of the music industry. No stranger to
this type of attention, Spirit Creek was also chosen as MTV
Online's "Band to watch in the year 2000." Spirit
Creek has been methodically building their fan base throughout
10 states in the Midwest with the use of their 3000+ e-mail
list, constant touring, and a 100+ member street team. These
efforts have helped them sell over 3000 copies of the groups
first album, and has also led Spirit Creek to performing with 27
national acts including Creed, 3 Doors Down, Nickleback, and
Bush to name a few. Armed with a recently completed 5 song EP
produced and mixed by Steven Haigler (Fuel, Clutch), and
mastered by Ted Jensen @ Sterling Sound, NY, Spirit Creek is
well on their way to claiming a piece of the National spotlight
for themselves.
Honing their skills as the number one drawing local act at
Milwaukee's #1 concert venue The Rave, Spirit Creek earned the
privilege of becoming The Rave's house band. With a larger plan
in mind Spirit Creek set out to build a loyal regional
following. They accomplished this by earning themselves a slot
on Summerfest's Rock Stage for the past five years in a row.
Spirit Creek also concentrated their efforts on colleges,
specifically the NACA's Midwest college circuit. In just a year
and a half they not only performed on more than 40 campuses, but
they've became one of their most sought after acts. Spirit
Creek's combination of powerful vocals, monstrous guitars, and
soul stirring lyrics has been creating quite a regional buzz.
Driving this word of mouth has been Spirit Creek's energetic
live performances, which have left audiences in awe everywhere
they've played. Jagermeister has recently step up to support the
band by making them a "Jagerband" as well as
sponsoring their Fall tour.
Already considered by many as one of the best bands to come out
of the Midwest in years, Spirit Creek has it's eye set on the
National spotlight. With a rapidly growing regional fan base,
marketable music, awesome live performances, and a huge
cross-over potential this band is poised to live up to
